Artist Statement
The Power of Art: A Journey of Self-Discovery.
Art is not only a tool, but also a means of self-exploration. The inner workings of the human mind are complex and abstract, making it difficult for us to fully comprehend. However, art has the ability to empower artists to express their deepest thoughts and emotions. In my personal quest for self-identity, I delved into my subconscious - a part of me I tend to keep hidden from others. To me, concealing my identity is a form of liberation.
During the creation of my two self-portraits, I experimented with various digital tools. My creative process is heavily influenced by self-reflection and introspection. My goal is to reveal my innermost thoughts and struggles through my art, and to make viewers feel a connection to my work. I hope that my art inspires viewers to embark on their own journey of self-discovery and to explore their subconscious. Perhaps there are individuals who, like me, conceal their true selves from the world.
