Artist Statement
In my quest for self-discovery, I've come to realize that I bear a resemblance to a black cat - quiet, indifferent and introverted. Like a cat, I prefer to spend most of my time indoors, in solitude, and can often be found napping. However, I also crave companionship, as depicted by the colorful cats surrounding me in one of my artworks. They are curious and reaching out to me, eager to befriend me. My second artwork portrays me in my natural state, resting and minding my own business.
