Artist Statement

Navigating the Journey to Self-Discovery Through Art

Struggling with personal identity is something I've dealt with since childhood. The pressure of societal norms always weighed heavily on me. To cope, I created an alternate version of myself out of fear, forcing myself to like what I didn't enjoy and accepting the norm. That all changed when I discovered the power of art as a form of self-expression. For the first time, I was creating what I truly wanted without any external influences. Inspired by my favorite artists, my work often centers around the idealized self. I explore different perspectives, both realistic and fantastical, to gain a broader perspective on myself and the world. Recently, my focus has shifted to the controversial topic of femininity and sexuality in women. By accepting nudity as the epitome of human purity, especially when it comes to the female form, I challenge societal stereotypes of asexual presentations.

I use art to express myself in various ways, even if some may find it controversial. Like any young artist, I seek recognition for my work, but at the end of the day, I will always prioritize the freedom to create without regard for others' opinions.
