The Great Digital Harvest: Data Collection and Surveilance

The Digital Harvest is a project interested in exploring the impacts that mass surveillance and unethical data collection has on society through digital and generative artworks. The social implications of mass surveillance and unethical data collection by corporations to monitize our interactions with online platforms are servere. The lack of awareness about this situation combined with the people's lack of knowledge about digital rights allows companies to exploit, manipulate and monitize our data. This project aims to stir up a conversation of the said topic while educating the new generation on the effects of surveillance and their digital rights.
