Exploring My Inner World Through Art: The "Self-Dreaming" Collection
I often contemplate my inner world and explore my thoughts and emotions through self-reflection. My collection of artworks, named "Self-dreaming," captures this deeply personal process as a place where my self-reflection is full of dreams. I arranged my paintings based on a sequence of self-perceptions, from outer appearances (my face) to inner aspirations (my desires) and thoughts (my sexuality). The project was an opportunity for me to question myself and express my true self through my work.
The dried flowers in my paintings symbolize the moments when my perceptions "bloom," when I realize that my worth is not determined by my appearance and that freedom is my ultimate desire. The poetic and romantic tones of the color scheme convey the emotions that I want to express in this collection. As an artist still learning, I hope to gain clarity in my journey of "self-awareness," to be able to show the most authentic aspects of myself in my artwork. I believe in living honestly and expressing myself without fear of societal stereotypes or standards. This freedom of expression is what sets me on the path to becoming a true artist.
