Description
In Asia, parental pressure to control children has become a significant social issue. Asian children’s daily schedules involve academic, artistic, and sports activities. Parents invest in their children’s education, but as time goes by, the “Orient” becomes “Control”. Children become puppets, lying about their feelings to please their parents. A painting depicts a child’s short break when the “good child” mask is removed, but the ropes remain attached, causing them to become inanimate puppets.
