Body
Description
“BODY” explores the interconnection between women’s bodies and nature through the use of a striking image of an orchid flower, often
associated with the feminine. By positioning this image alongside the female form, the artwork suggests a deep bond between femininity and the natural world, particularly in relation to the concept of motherhood.
The artwork invites us to consider how we define femininity and whether these concepts remain unchanged when we look at nature in isolation from societal contexts. It challenges the objectification of women’s bodies and triggers traditional notions of the male gaze to emphasize the beauty of feminity.
