Artist Statement
There was once a person who felt trapped in their comfort zone, too afraid to venture out. As time went by, they realized that they needed to change and break free from their cocoon, as the world had little room for those who were too timid. They sought guidance and found a source of light to follow, which helped them find their way. Grateful for the assistance, they began to rely too heavily on the light, and lost sight of their own path. Like a moth drawn to a flame, they ended up getting burned. It's important to remember that growth, learning, and development require self-awareness and self-evaluation. While a moth needs light to navigate, it also needs its own wings to fly.
